Magnolia is Really Part of Seattle...

Let's end city hall's neglect of Magnolia...

It would be an absolute shame if it's taken down...I always read what is sent out and appreciate very much the importance of all the news. -- I doubt there is another neighborhood in the city that has anything as useful to its residence! Hopefully, you can get some help to keep it going.

If this site is costing someone money, or time, I can understand wanting to take it down. I do know that once it is down, and the city pulls some other underhanded trick, or break-ins start up again, someone will have to get it started again to keep us updated. I always feel we are united because if anything comes up, we have a place to share our concerns. Some might be worried about a swing club somewhere nearby. It has no affect on MY life. I'm more interested in break-ins, or info like why Whole Foods isn't occupying the new shopping center along 15th Ave W, or what's happening with the Bat Lanes. Where else are we going to get this info? Not the Mag News. They have to remain politically correct. We don't.

If this costs money, by all means, take it down. If it is a freebie, let it stay. If it is costing money, I'm willing to kick in a few bucks, and I know others will, too. Just ask! It's a community service and makes us a unified community. We can add comments even if they show we are upset or annoyed. It's a good thing.

I second Gail's response. I rely on this website for the latest news and I share it with my neighbors. We are stronger and safer in our community if we remain informed and united. Please let us know if this website is costing money to keep it up so we can all pitch in.

I agree. I would like the site to remain.

Likewise. This website has huge potential. It's relatively unknown but as more people find out about it, I can see it really taking off. It's quite useful...

I am with the Magnolia Community Club. Can someone contact me to discuss the website? My email is michelemarchi@comcast.net.
