Magnolia is Really Part of Seattle...

Let's end city hall's neglect of Magnolia...

Vladimir Kalustyan

"America Freestyle Alterations" was robbed on 1/2/08 night.

Our store is located on 3121 West Government Way. The window was broken by the stone, and most of the expensive clothng and accessories were stolen. We opened our bisiness just a year ago. There were no witnesses. The police came, and gave the case number, but never taken the fingerprints from the stone, which was left in the store. Are they gonna make them feel they can do that again? What are they doing to protect the businesses ? We already taking some steps to increase the security; however, it should be more police during the holiday time, when more people are drunk, you would think so.

I remember walking by your store one time and seeing several burberry scarves and purses. Are you an authorized dealer of burberry? There are a lot of fakes around.

Might want to add a security window film (see http://www.excellentwindowtinting.com/security.html) to your store front windows to prevent smash and grab type robberies. The film will prevent the glass from shattering (holds the shards together) and makes it much more work to get through. A rock would crack the glass but bounce back off onto the sidewalk. The would-be thief would then likely realize that they would have to work harder to get in, raising the possibility of getting caught in the process.

Hi -
I'm sorry to hear this; I've used your service before and and we are lucky to have your business here in Magnolia. It would be good for residents and businesses to watch out for each other for suspicious cars, people, etc. I don't know how many units are filled in that new condo bldg across the street, but hopefully they are now aware of the crime spree happpening and will call 911 for any unusual activity they see.
